I value partnering with others to help uncover and pursue meaning in their life.

Hello.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (CADC I) based in Portland, Oregon. I offer a space where you can feel safe, seen, and understood. I approach each session with warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for your unique experiences.

My work is grounded in a person-centered, relational, and collaborative approach. That means we will move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you, while building a genuine connection along the way.

I currently work with adults (18+). I can assist you in growing self-compassion, unhooking from painful thoughts and feelings, and developing practical, healthy ways to cope. Together, we can explore what a meaningful and fulfilling life looks like for you!

Our work can draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I will tailor our work to fit your needs, preferences, and goals, so that therapy feels both supportive and effective.

How I Can Help.

  • Experiencing anxiety is a normal part of life. Sometimes we feel anxiety so intensely, in our attempts to cope and survive, we may find ourselves moving away from the life we want. Enjoyable activities may no longer feel possible and our circle of workability may start to shrink. My training treating anxiety utilizes approaches to assist others in connecting to their values, unhooking from painful thoughts/feelings, growing self-compassion, and helping you reconnect to what is important to you.

  • The tools that help manage general anxiety are different from those most effective for intrusive thoughts. I will help you notice intrusive thoughts without getting entangled in them. Together, we will explore how these thoughts do not reflect a desire to act on them, but often appear as an inversion of what truly matters to you.

  • If you find yourself experiencing unhelpful perfectionism and unhealthy people-pleasing, I want to partner with you to grow self-compassion and kindness, identify potential thinking patterns which no longer serve you, learn new coping skills, and to feel a stronger connection to the present.

  • I have multiple years of experience working with adults living with severe and persistent mental health concerns, including depression in varying stages of their recovery. I can help you reconnect to what is important to you, grow skills to release painful thoughts/feelings, to hold yourself with kindness, and start living the life you want.

  • I will guide you to notice self-critical thoughts without judgment, helping you create space between yourself and those thoughts using ACT, while also cultivating compassion toward yourself through CFT practices. Our work will help you learn to respond with kindness rather than harshness.

  • I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfullness to help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while moving toward what matters most. For ADHD, we will explore helpful ingredients like urgency, novelty, and special interests to support focus and motivation, while building flexible, strengths-based strategies so you can feel more grounded, effective, and aligned with your values.

  • I support people feeling burned out from school, careers, working in tech, or the demands of modern life by blending Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Together, we will create a space to gently face stress, take meaningful steps forward, and nurture self-compassion. My goal is to help you reconnect with energy, purpose, and calm in your everyday life.

  • I help people navigate the ups and downs of relationships. Together, we will explore how to face difficult emotions with kindness, communicate more authentically, and nurture deeper connections. My goal is to help you experience your relationships with compassion, closeness, and confidence, so you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
